BG Consultants, Inc. is searching for an experienced project engineer / manager to join our growing team. This is a mid-upper level position for designing general civil engineering projects in the areas of water/wastewater/stormwater, transportation and site development. Candidate must be able to prepare, monitor and review: engineer’s opinion of probable cost, design calculations, project specifications and budgets, permit applications for applicable agencies, client billing and A/R tasks. As a Project Manager they will be responsible for project schedules and timely completion of projects, assist in production of final construction drawings and mentor and assist with training Intern and Design Engineers. He or she will work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects. The candidate will be expected to maintain a good relationship with clients throughout project activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• Experience: minimum 5-15+ years
• Licensure: PE required
• Experience with Autocad
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Arcview/GIS a plus
• Knowledge of other civil engineering design and analysis software such as WaterCAD, SewerCAD, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and HCS a plus
• Must be resourceful and communicate with a high level of professionalism with office staff
