BG Consultants, Inc. has successfully aided the City of Emporia in acquiring needed funding for an additional water tower in the Industrial Park 3 area.  The US Department of Commerce has announced a $1.3 million grant to build a 1-million-gallon water tower for Industrial Park III near Penny Lane and Weaver Streets.

Not only will the cities water supply be increased with the addition, but The Department of Commerce estimates that the announcement could trigger some $38 million in private investment locally because of the development of 3 additional lots in the Industrial park. 

BG Consultants, Inc. is currently working on the design for approximately 8,000 LF of 16” waterline and the 200’ height  1.0 MG composite water tower to be constructed in 2018 and 2019 respectively.
