BG Staff members Bruce Boettcher, Paul Owings and David Goss were on site for the Tank raising of the new water tower in Emporia on September 10th, 2019.  The all-day event drew a lot of local interest from the community with people dropping by throughout the day to view the progress.

The 1 million gallon Composite Water Tower has an approximate height of 199' for the Highest Water Level (HWL). Funding for the water tower was accomplished through a US Department of Commerce EDA Grant and local matching funds. The Water Tower project is due to be substantially complete at the end of November.
