Highways and Roads

US-166 and Willow Geometric Improvements

This project is located in Coffeyville, Kansas, on U.S. Highway 166. The highway serves as access to several homes and businesses located along the highway as well as acting as a major east-west highway in southeast Kansas.

This project was partially funded by the Kansas Department of Transportation through its Geometric Improvement Program.  BG Consultants, Inc. was selected by the City of Coffeyville to design the project.

Kimball Avenue Corridor Improvements

In 2010, BG Consultants began surveying and developing preliminary concept layouts for Denison Avenue and Kimball Avenue in Manhattan, Kansas. Modifications to these streets are needed to accommodate increased traffic associated with the high-profile National Bio and Agro Defense Facility to be built on Kansas State University’s campus. The proposed improvements include adjustments on Denison Avenue through the entrance to the Chester E. Peters Recreation Complex at Kansas State University.
